OK I just luv the feel and luke of this whole site can a person like me that only knows htm learn if so can you point me in the direction where i get info to start crammin in my small brain

Im only into HTML myself but i do have a pph nuke site. It is really easy to setup and manage using the internal admin system but when something goes wrong it is a bugger to fix.

I find it easy enough but when something goes wrong i need to ask someone else for assistance, lol.

Best thing to do if you can is get a nuke site an play with it a bit. Another thing you could do is have a read through all the forums here to see if you can pick up a hint or two about nuke and what it does and how you can use it.

NOW I AM TOTALLY LOST

ok so far this is what i have dun

I have aol and have checked and so far i think i will be able to set up site on it

i d/l 1st the 7tweek version and it all looked greek so i stepped down to 6.9 php hoping i could understand it better

But no go

so the 1st thing it tells me is i have to have

- A Linux Box (http://www.linux.com) Installed and working properly.
- Apache Web Server (http://www.apache.org)
- PHP version 4.1.x or better (mod_php) Apache module (http://www.php.net)
- MySQL database server (http://www.mysql.com)

I visiited each site and it all greek to

am i just to lame to do this or what

does my isp provide any of the above????

OK my question is upon reading the reamme's i have been trying to understand the linux box requirement by reading linux site

my question is.....

Do i need linux os instead of windows to do this?

Where are you putting this on your computer or a web host?

You need to make sure they also give you a database (preferably MYSQL)

Thats is what holds all of the Nuke Info.
