I found out that tripod UK hosts PHP and MYSQL therefore, they are what I am using.

However, I am stuck on the instllation. I have read all readmes and the more I try reading them the more confused I get. icon_redface.gif

All I have touched is hte config.php and I am 90% sure they are correct.

I am stuck from here.

Thanks for any help.

glad ya found us......

anyway, the next step would be to make sure that the db (database) is installed.

when that is done, then you go to your site and see the wonders of Nuke....lol

That error means your config.php is NOT connecting to your Database. Either your config.php is not setup correctly, or your Database does not exist OR MySQL server is NOT running.

check to make sure that everything in your config.php is done correctly

Your database information:Name: teamm3_uk_db
Username: team-m3

Host: localhost

I copied and pasted my DB folder into my server. THE DB FOLDER IS UN MODIFIED> Should I have modified it?

OR DO i have to MOVE EVERYTING FROM THE HTML FOLDER to the serv?

see normally the dbname would have a nuke or phpnuke extension. if tripod told you to place those there then I would ask them as to why the db is not connecting?

should be something like $dbname = 'teamm3_uk_db_-_phpnuke'

there is nothing to modify in your db folder at this point. it should have automatically created the tables it needed during the install.

double check with them...and see if the info is correct
