Hey everyone, I have a problem, when someone registers on my site and they don't choose an avatar from the gallery or elsewhere they end up having a red x for the default avatar. I have read that this is a bug in nuke? Is there any way of making it so if they don't choose one that they will get a working default (blank.gif) avatar? I have made a default one and have placed it in every directory possible with no luck. Thx,
echo

umm you could either create you a default avatar and then upload it to your nuke and then go into your forum panel and set that particular image as your default....I was thinking about that earlier for my forums as well...havein a avatar with just my site name on it etc...like the default image thats on here icon_biggrin.gif

I searched and fiddled with this issue until late lastnight/early morning, I have read that there really isn't a fix for this, is that true? no fix for a long standing bug like this? Thx,

*Edit, I tried that fix with no luck. When you right click the red x it gives this path: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Strange that it stops like that? Is there a file that may be missing something related to the blank.gif path? Thx,

first off, check to make sure the avatars are indeed in that file. if not, move them to the correct folder.

it seems that when a user uses the profile thru the forums and chooses an av from there, the avatar shows up but when it is chosen from the Your_Account menu the avatar gets lost.

apparently, it is a known bug and no one has fixed it.......lol
