Hello, I used to design websites from a long long time ago and i'm now picking it back up and everything has changed! icon_smile.gif

I've been doin allot of reading and trying new things but I recently found out about PHP Nuke and PHPbb, So I downloadeded it and installed it and love it!

But as with anything new I have allot to learn! Is there any good beginers guide? or a complete guide that shows allot of stuff about Nuke?

Im mainly intrested in how to edit the whole site, make my own theme, and stuff like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out both sites..

My biggest suggestion would be to download CZs Nuke 7.0 Its a lot better and has a lot more added features built into it. So right out of the box its a lot more functional than the basic Nuke.

As far as tutorials, i'm not sure, but if you have programmed sites in the past, Nuke should be pretty easy to learn.

Ok i'm deleting the entire old one off my server now...

One question on uploading tho...

The installation file for PHPNuke origonal says to upload ALL files in binary mode...Is this correct? I was under the inpression that .php files and .html files needed to be uploaded in ASCII

Yeah I know about auto....but which files extentions should I set to be uploaded in ascii? Or should i just do as the file says and upload every file in binary?

I ran into an error on the first one I setup because I uploaded admin.php and index.php in ascii, so I reuploaded in binary and it worked...

BTW Awsome site you guys are running here, I imagine i'll be here allot untill i get all this figured out.
