Hey Hey It's me again....My website is coming along great...only a few hitches so far....my latest problem is trying to set my account to be administrator in the forum....

I goto my admin panle then click forums then I goto permissions under users...I type my name in and if finds me...I change User to admin in the drop down box then select "Is Moderator" for all the forums..then I hit the submit button....

but it doesnt do any of that...If I search my self again...It will still list me as a user...and clue what this might be? I've setup and ran a standalone PHPbb before and never had this problem.

Try going to "Management " (right above the "Permissions") then type your name and go to the bottom and choose "Site Admin" next to the rank title, then try the permissions...BTW you are automatically a moderator when your Admin.

Thanx, that worked great!

New problem tho, evertime someone on my site posts a message in the forums or sends a private message they get the following error:

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 502 unimplemented (#5.5.1)

Now it still posts the topic, or sends the PM without a problem, but I can't figure out what the error is for or how to make it go away.

Ok I got rid of the error when posting messages to the forum, but that same error is there when PMing people...
