Hi, firstly id like to say hi, im mike from the UK!

my question is this; how feasable will a php site be as a musical bands website?.

being quite new to web design i tried the old HTML but to be honest i was crap, real bad. so i was thinking how about making a php site with phpnuke, the only problem is i dont know where to start, are there any like 'php for beginners' guides etc, ive managed to get webspace of 1gb and bw of 5gb, this supports both php and mysql but where do i go from here?

could work well. pph is very versatile and easy to maintain once you have it running. We will be happy to help you in any way and my advice would be to go for it and see what you can come up with.

what version of php nuke would u reccomend me to use? and do i need any other applications/programs?

nuke 7 is good. You dont really need any programmes, all u need is what is available online for ya.

I would go with the newest version, less updating to do but whichever one you decide to go with, Telli has added all the fixed to the downloads section, so you would be wise to dl from here
