You should just be able to put a meta refresh tag in the head of the page called into the iframe.

I tried that kelly problem is more and more people seem to be turning the security settings up higher and higher thus disabling the meta tag refresh

Try this one:

[ Register or login to view links on this board.]

It doesn't use the meta refresh tag, but it does put a message in the status bar. Shouldn't be too hard to work around it if you don't want it to display the message.

how bout instead of doing it automaticly i put a button on the page that will refresh just the iframe and not whole page

is there a way to make this buttom point at a iframe named "tag" and not having it refresh entire page?

<FORM>
      <INPUT TYPE="BUTTON" VALUE="Klik Here To Refresh Tag Board" style="font-family:Times New Roman" style="color:000000" style="background:#8B7765" style="font-size: 14pt" onClick ="location.reload()">
   </FORM>

Are you wanting the parent page to refresh or the child page inside the iframe? If it's the child page, then the script needs to go on the child page. And yea, I did see some scripts that use a refresh button. If you need it, i'll look for one.
