in a post a user called knarf was talkin abt hw his text smeared or something in one of his intros. I jst wanted to know how he got de animation to go in time wid de songetc.

First, create a seperate layer for the music and import the sound file into your library. With frame one of the sound layer selected, drag the sound file from the library onto the stage. In the Property Inspector for the sound layer, set the "Sync" to "Stream". This causes the movie to syncronize the animation with the sound layer on a frame-by-frame basis (it will force the animation to keep up with the sound stream by skipping frames if necessary). After the sound layer is created, just build your animation around the music the best you can...adjusting the postition of keyframes to fall on the beat of the music.

Hope this helps. I'm rather new to Flash, so this explination may not be the best in the world. LOL
