Telli, thanks for the hard work in this mod. Downloaded and attempted to install the notification mod. By the way, I think that this mod ported for Nuke is one of the biggest advances in the way phpnuke integrates with phpbb. This mod enables us nuke webmasters to offer a quasi yahoo group option to users that prefer email notification of postings.

My question is, will the mod work for other versions of nuke, has it been tryed by anyone else with some of the lastest versions of nuke as its last update was for 2.06 phpbb version of nuke 6.5.

Just attempted install of notification mod and after attempting to post received this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: from() in /home/alaskand/public_html/design/includes/functions_post.php on line 709

Line 709 in my file goes like this:

$emailer->from($board_config['board_email']);

Btw, this is phpnuke 6.5 with phpbb 2.06 and secfix3 and SP-SF4B fixes installed.

Any ideas?

That same function is there before this mod is installed. Please attach a fresh copy of your functions_post.php before you make any changes to it.

Telli,

Thanks again for the ported mod, I'm able to offer a feature on my site that will hopefully reign in some of the yahoo group members.

Since coding is your forte, thought I'd pass on a new mod in development at [ Register or login to view links on this board.] which takes the mod one step further allowing for email direct to forums as well as out.

This like the forum modication mod started out made for standalone phpbb2. However, if you check out the forums, under phpnuke installation issues ( [ Register or login to view links on this board.] ), you'll see one nuker that got that script working. Thought you might be interested in this.

I'm watching this one closely, they are preparing beta 2 version shortly......

Telli, just in case you're interested, looks like Chatserv now is working on the M2F script, see his post at: [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

ONe thing cropped up that I should mention regarding the notificaiton mod. Seems it works fine on my site with the default theme. However, if I install the mod on any other themes, I receive theme errors. Is this just me?
