icon_eek.gif Sorry, Foggy - I got a bit carried away and started doing this and then couldn't stop! LOL!

The main reason you couldn't get the white off is that the file was a jpeg file and not a gif.

right klik download link above and klik SAVE TARGET AS and it will save as a gif instead of bmp

OK i am using psp8 and how I would get rid of the white is......


1 open pic

2 in tool bar select "magic wand" (if you do not see the wand look for "freehand slection" or "selection" and klik the arrow on it and you will find the "magic wand"

3 put wand over 1 of the white corners and klik once

4 with 1 corner selected hold down shift key and klik wand on 3 remaining corners.

You should now see that the white in the 4 corners is selected

5 In menu klik file>save as

6 In the "save as" dialog box klik options

7 In "save option" dialog box klik "Run Optimizer"

8 In "gif optimizer" dialog box under the "transparency" table select "Inside the current selection"

9 klik ok

10 klik save

oops in step 8 the word table should be tab

6 In the "save as" dialog box klik options

9 klik ok

10 klik save
