is not letting me save anything on preference logged in admin mode. it keeps goind back to the old preference.,

The main reason that the preferances or any thing like that will not update is because the data going into the database does not match the database structure. IE unmatched fields. I hate to say it but your best bet is to remove whatever you have added and start over with the core files.

im sorry for taking too much your time telli..
what i did now was.. i upload everything again the modulo i download from nukescript.com "NSN_Your_Account_720_320_A4.tar.gz"
and i didn't miss anyfile. and that error message of not letting me create a new user again comeback

and also when i click the copyrigth icon it gives that yeloow error object expectd..and im sure the copyright file is there. maybe i download wrong vertion? can you tell me a good vertion to download so i can just overwrite the whole thing again..i have plenty time.

Your not taking too much of my time I just wish you could enjoy your site more instead of fighting with it. I dont knwo which is a good version i allways recomend downloading it from the original source if you can. I would however in your situation go back to a default Nuke package and start over.

Ok here i go agaim..
i start from scratch and i can make new users and login with no problem..
but the preference page is not leting me change anithing it keeps going back to the old settings.. is any specif file have something to do with that?

also on the nsw yor account that i an tring to install i come a file that says document.txt suppost to be for cases. bu t i dont if i should or where to insert them.

one more question

Because im having this problem not letting me change the default theme,, i try to change the theme straight from phpmyadmin and when i click on nuke_config table and after edit is not letting me edit..instead is trying to delete..tnaks god is not deleting..but is not leting me change..anyway.. any other way ehere i can change the default theme manually until i get this problem solved?

I still can't change the default theme in control panel - preferences.
i click save. but is not saving..

Molly if you started all over then the problem is in the databse. try running a repair on all the tables. You may have to reinstall the database also. If you just want to change the theme run this as a sql command

UPDATE nuke_config SET Default_Theme='YOUR_THEME';
