Im using the phpnuke czenhanced7.0 that i just installed and some of my users got in fine, now they are all getting invalid username error when registering. The names they have chosen are not invalid names. I am having to create the names for them

Is this a known issue?

Its the groups system installed if you add any blocks make sure to edit them and change the $username to $user_name only the ones with the $ symbol you change.

Where do i make these changes ? I havent added any new blocks, I set up the site and then i created a moderator group to moderate the forums. I havent added any new blocks. This is when they try to create an account

Hmm thats strange are you sure you havnt added any blocks? What is the url to your site?

The changes would be made in the block before you upload just open it and do a search find $username with the $ symbol and change it to $user_name.

The theme probably has the $username in it. Open the themes/Chronicles/theme.php and change the $username to $user_name only the ones with the $ symbol.
