I know this question is asked alot and I've read the posts, but they didn't help me figuring out what is wrong with the email that people get from our site.

This is the problem:
People get the email, but when they press on the link it takes them to the site but its broken up. Meaning all the images aren't showing up, the site has different shades, and so on.
People can't activate their account.

This is what I've already did:
Changed the Site URL under Administration ---> Preferences and it matches Domain Name and Cookie Domain under Administration ---> Forums ---> General Configuration (couldnt find Site URL)
Checked the database to see if information is being send to the nuke_users_temp and all info is there.

Try to register at this site [ Register or login to view links on this board.] and see what I'm talking about .

Any help would be much appreciated, cuz I'm really stuck,

One problem, sometimes it appears in your header, sometimes it doesn't. Might wanna look into it.

The problem with the email activation.

index.php/modules.php?

index.php is not supposed to be in that link. You will have to change, i BELIEVE, your script path.

and thanks again for the help before... unfortunatley, not being as well informed as some.. we decided to redo the orginal install.. all working great now, and no more editing from dreamweaver icon_wink.gif

Second line in admin>Prefarances is the Site URL change that from
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

To just this:
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

With no trailing slash.
