i have tryed several thing which i have picked up from a search in the forums.. i am getting frustrated..

PlAYLIST

i have tryed this..

everything in root..

then everything but mp3 file which are placed in a folder called music in root and the playlist would show that like this

also tryrd both ways pointing to root with and without the >www.<

also tryed the block and also tryed the html block..

i am running 7.0

i get everthing up.. i just CANT GET IT TO PLAY THE MUSIC

what else am i forgetting or doing wrong

Well getting a message like below when I try to play the song in wmp

leads me to believe that the mp3's you are using are not true mp3's which is the only kind of format the player can play.

Sure I can say yes to media player and it will play the song but the mp3 player will not search out the correct format and play song.

I even d/l the first of your songs and tried it in my mp3 player (that works just fine) and it would not work.

ok redownload the files in wav formay.. then used convert to change to mp3 file format to be 100% sure it is the right file tme..

And still nothing

also before i did these change if i just put in the link to the mp3 it would play.. and now it doesnt.. GRRR what is the prob here

try adding this song to play list and see if it works

How are you converting the files?

If you're simply changing the filename extensions that may the problem, as doing this doesnt work on flash mx either.

I think i proper conversion utility does it properly without any errors or anything.

Please Referr to this Thread if you have problems..

If you do the installation correct..

Edit the XML file properly.. no space case sensitive!!

Because the XML file grabs the mp3 file..

Making Sure that it is a True mp3 File OR it wont play it!!

( which was my problem)

Hello guys, this is my first post and just joined up,, I used One of your flash clocks and its badass by the way,, but I am having trouble with the mp3 player, so I have a few questions, I followed the install readme.txt and have a xml playlist created but I thougt it could be the problem listed above and made sure the file I have uploaded are true Mp3 and they are, so I used your script and still didnt work, I added the block , inputed the code from the install sheet, put your test script in, I get nothing , here is my website [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Any input would be greatly appreaciated, on and how did you do the link to unattach the the player, thats pretty cool..
