Hi

I made a rubbishy little snooker cue in photoshop with a transparent background. So why is it that when i import it into flash it has a white background when its against a black background?

the link is [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

If you want to view it, its when he pulls out the snooker cue and starts to aim.

Lol, its cheap i know, i was having trouble making his arms and legs move so i just thought sod it.

Also bear in mind that even a transparent gif imported into flash still has a pixel content in the transparent parts. This is sometimes a problem, sometimes not - depending on what you're doing in Flash. For example if you are trying to Glint some text that you've imported, then you have to erase the transparent parts, otherwise the whole image, even the transparent parts, will be glinted. A total pita that I seem to have spent a lot of my time doing over the years.
