I figured I could do that, but I wanted to be sure that doing that would still allow the admin to access the inactive modules. icon_question.gif

to do away with the drop down edit the modules block

where it says
/* Make dropdown or module style full selection menu - NOTE: inactive modules only viewable by Admin */
erase everything below that

remember always to make a backup just in case ... and if that doesnt work paste your block code here and ill take a look at it

I just went to find this to remove it, and none of my files have this line of text/code in it.

I just downloaded the orginal zip again, and again, this line is nowhere to be found in the code. Where should it be?

How about 1 more question?

Now that it is formatted correctly (to my liking that is), is there any way to customize the look of the drop down menu for the admins?

The drop down menu for admins currently looks like windows default... and I understand why.

I would like it to force a dark gray background, and orange edges with white text.

that is done thru the style.css file. you can add something like this

input {
background:#919798;
color:#FFFFFF;
font:11px verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
BORDER-TOP: #CECECE 1px solid;
BORDER-BOTTOM: #000000 1px solid;
BORDER-LEFT: #CECECE 1px solid;
BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 1px solid;}
textarea{border-color: #FFFFFF; color:#000000; background-color: #919798; font:normal 11px Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif}
select{border-color: #FFFFFF; color:#000000; font:normal 11px Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif}

see how that works for you
