Hi, my name is Ryan, and i am trying to make a site made out of pure flash, dont question me on this please. I know exactly what i want, but im having one problem, i can't get this one thing to work...once i get it to work, my site will be a piece of cake...what i want to do, is make it so when you put your mouse over a button, the button fades in. I am using this tuturial from dissymmetry.com

I have ran through this tutorial many times, and it just wont work...i am very sure i do exactly what this thing says, and every time, it almost works, but instead of fading in and out when you put ur mouse over the button, it is always fading in and out, thats the only problem. I am using Macromedia Flash MX, don't know if that would change anything or not. Please either give me a working tutorial on this, tell me yourself, or something, so that i can get this to work, i have been having this problem for a couple months and am just now asking help

i forgot to say this...after step 7, it says this

Note: The Else action is added by selecting the "If" action and clicking the "Add Else/ ElseIF" Button

i dont know if that means i am suppose to do something or not :-/ but that just controls the flow, it doesnt control whether or not its a rollover effect
