Hello,
I am currently working on updating and fixing a pre-existing website for the company I work at. The URL is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] I'm working on it using Adobe GoLive CS on a Mac running OS 10.3.4. One of the additions I thought would go with the theme for the site would be for the "info@generationprinting.com" image to, like the navigation buttons, have an icon change colour once the mouse rolls over it. I took the source code used for one of the navigational buttons and applied it to the "info@generationprinting.com" button, after making a "turned on" version for it to show. The layout showed a blue box around the button, but it disappeared in the preview, and when published, didn't show it either, so I paid no heed to it. That was all good and well, and it was working fine, but I got an email from the previous webmaster who pointed out that he was seeing a blue box around the button. He also mentioned he was using a PC. So I checked it on a local PC using Explorer and sure enough, it had a blue box around it. I then checked Explorer, Safari and Netscape on the OS X Mac, and there was no blue box for IE or Safari, but was there for Netscape. Also, Explorer for Mac OS 9 did not have a blue box either. Would anyone be so kind as to checking into why it's doing this, as well as a way to remove the error so it doesn't show up on the aforementioned browsers?

You could either reply here or email me at [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] , Addressing it to David.

Regards

To remove the border to the email link image just add border="0" to the img element.

<img src="images/info.gif" alt="info@generationprinting.com" name="info" border="0">
