Modules/Forums/admin/index.php - blank

Hello guys

I can access to the forum page fine by clicking Forums from the contents bar.
But once I try to access Forums from Admin panel, it prompts me to a blank page.



Everything else works fine.
Chmod of folders are 755 and files are 644

Anyone know what the problem and how to fix this?
(Just to make sure do I have to config the forum seperatly? (eg: any config.php etc?))

There should be a config.php in your forum root that looks like this:

@include("../../mainfile.php");
define('PHPBB_INSTALLED', true);

?>

well i edited the config.php and nothing happened just Blank still.. icon_cry.gif

Go to your phpmyadmin click nuke_users and find your name scroll across the top to the field "user_level" verify that is set to "2".

I'm having the same problems. I verified that the userlevel for my account is set at 2. No problems there.

phpnuke version 7.3 w/ very very little modification

I have the same problem, it seems to be in the admin/modules/forums.php file just dont know how to fix it yet

I'm using Phpnuke platinum 7.6 and am having a problem too.

I click on forums in admin and i go to the forums admin. Then i click on any link there and i get


General Error
Could not set open status

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 'Groups')' at line 1

INSERT INTO nuke_bbadmin_nav_module (user_id, modulname) VALUES (, 'Groups')

File : /home/public_html/11/222/modules/Forums/admin/index.php


What do i do? I think all i have to do is insert that line into nuke_bbadmin_nav_module

But i want to make sure i'm right so can one of you confirm it. Also point out exactly what needs to be inserted. Thanks.

The nav used to work properly and now dosen't. The wierd thing is i haven't changed anything.
