I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of how I can optimize my php scripts.

Our page generations are taking 5+ seconds per - Very slow load. Anyone have any ideas?

Deactivate any blocks you dont use. Install the KC Gentime so you can see how many queries you have on your main page. Whats the link to your site?

I figured out what it was though - I dl'd a block from here that was slowing it down

The block I dl'd was the IP display block. Is there anyway I can make this block operate faster? I really like the block, but it's not worth the 5 sec. page loads icon_smile.gif

I uploaded the block and activated it I didnt have any page lag. At any rate I added another function to the block to cache the info so if you wanna try it now it might load faster if that was the problem.
