I am using the Paradise theme and when adding a new section I have a field where I can add an image. It says:

Section Image
(Will be under /images/sections/ directory. Example: opinion.gif)

There are no image files there except template.gif. So if I use that and save the section, add an article, click on sections in the modules block, my article link comes up as a large white rectangle where the title of the article belongs and no title. If I dont use an image, the title link is there but has a white square box with a red X in it beside the title.

Any idea what image will work with this? I have tried a few and they all replace the title.

Thanks.

If you have admin access, goto the administrations menu and click on sections and it will take you right there. Sorry, I am new to this and that is the easiest way for me to show you.

I appreciate you trying to help and with such a quick response.

This should take you directly to the page that has the missing images. I would also like to change the text above the links with the missing images and not sure how, but that is a different problem.

This should take you to the main page you requested, however I have changed the modules block to read "Navigation" and the module w/i that block was "Sections" and I have change it to "Recruitment" as it is a site for an online gaming guild.

You are missing the full image path to the images you want to display. If you know where to adjust it, then upload ur images(if you havent already) to your phpnuke/images/sections/ folder and then adjust ur code also to display the proper URL for those images. Hope that might have helped you a bit. I need some sleep but dont worry...lots of helpful people here at codezwiz..icon_smile.gif If nobody helped ya by the time I log back on....I will help again..

Well actually, that is the first thing I was going to do, however, the theme Paradise does not offer any more images than what is already uploaded. Perhaps you mean the php-Nuke images installed by the server through the power tools link? I downloaded a php-Nuke zip file and will unzip it and have a look.

Thanks

Ok, i have unzipped the PHP-Nuke-7.0 files to my personal computer and it appears that I have the same images on the server. I then searched for the example given when adding a new section -

Add a New Section

Section Name:

Section Image
(Will be under /images/sections/ directory. Example: opinion.gif)

The opinion.gif is not in the unzipped files. Maybe it is not supposed to be, being it is just an example.

However, i just cant believe that it is correct the way it currently is with the white box and red X. The path given by the example is the same in the zipped version as it is on the server with just 2 files in the /images/sections directory. They are index.html and template.gif.

Any additional comments or help would certainly be appreciated.

Thanks

those images were never added in the theme. You can however, create your own images and add it in the proper folder
