How can i get the left side blocks to appear on the forums, private messages and member list?

And

How can i get external links to open in the page, like the content pages do, instead of in a new window?

in your theme.php file that you posted, look under themeheader and remove this part of the code:

global $name;
    if($name!=Forums)
    {
    blocks(left);
    }



replace that with:

blocks(left);




do that for all your themes. For your second question, where are these external links you have? In the navigation? In the header?

You cna use the php-iframe mod which cna be found in the download section for your external links, That opens up in the main window (body) of your page
