Have you tryed reuploading these two files from a fresh nuke package?

I don't see anything obvious wrong with the files. Maybe you can try another source for the 7.4 and reupload the whole package. Sometimes a bad corrupted file can cause alot of problems and it may not be one of the two files that were looking through. I have it in my downloads and havnt heard of any such problems so give that one a shot.

7.4 patched 2.5 is very stable.

Questions: Are you upgrading from a previous nuke version? If so, what version and what procedures are you using?

If not and this is a fresh install, what procedures are you using for that too?

As a heads up, to start off with, you must upload a VIRGIN (unpatched) copy of Nuke 7.4 BEFORE you can upload the patched 2.5 version. The patched 2.5 ONLY includes files that have been modified which are less than half of the files that you need.

You must perform the Virgin installation (database setup, etc...) before uploading the patched 2.5 files which will then modify your build to fix the problems.

Steph - I did exactly the same way as you suggested.
I am new to this php nuke, first time installing. Wiped out the 7.4 completely , installed 7.3. Now I get different errors. Is there any way I can chat instead of forum which takes long time to get responses with different opinions.
Do I need any patches for 7,3 also

Yeah, definately some configuration issues in there. I would suggest that if you are starting from scratch that you definately use 7.4. Then after that is up, patch it with Chatserv's 2.5 patched 7.4 version. If need be I can point you in the right direction for a virgin 7.4 to start off with.
