Hi,

Just updated my attachment mod to 2.3.10 and now it is great!

However if I try to upload an attachment over about 2.2Mb it freezes and then crashes ie6?

I have also tried Firefox which doesn't even want to upload the attachments and also Netscape which isn't much better!

Any ideas on what may be my problem or do I have to live with small attachments, the streaming feature is proving massively popular and could be so much more so.

PS Great Mod by the way, don't let this post put anyone off giving it a go! icon_biggrin.gif

To be honest I don't know

I've never had any reason to try, because it has only ever been pics and stuff, but now there is so much potential! icon_biggrin.gif

I'll email the hosts and see if they will change it, is there any drawbacks this may have and would that setting cause the crash?

Thanks for the reply btw! icon_biggrin.gif

Think this one has turned out to be the hosts, they have their upload limit set to 2Mb so it looks like it's just something I have to live with. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks btw icon_biggrin.gif

Something I have done to upload a large file is to attach a dummy file with the same name and extension, and then FTP the larger file over the dummy file. I then went into the db with phpmyadmin and changed the filesize to match the new file.
