The concensus at the vWar site says that a custom theme could conflict with javascript on the site and cause it to not run. The issue is a vWar countdown block that should show the time left before a match or scrimm. Currently my coundown block is not showing anything as well as the game icon that should be showing up next to the time.

You can see this on the left side of my site.

A post said to edit my style.css to get java scripting activated.

Huh?

As far as I can tell my style.css has no javascript in it at all.

Move this into the theme.php into the body line and see if that makes any differance.

<body onLoad="getVWarTime()">

Try this:

Create a folder called scripts. Take each script on your page and paste it into a new file and save it to the scripts folder with a .js extension. Example: vwar.js. Then in your index page and your blocks call them like this:
<S CRIPT LANGUAGE="javas cript" SRC="scripts/vwar.js"></S CRIPT>

That might solve the problem with the scripts conflicting with each other.

Long time for me to reply but.

I did what you said

echo '<SCR IPT LANGUAGE="java script" SRC="scripts/countdown.js"></SCR IPT>';

But still not showing up. The theme is a codewiz theme by Telli at [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Hi Steve,

That should be "by Kelly and Telli".
This might be a dumb question, but then again, it might not be. Did you remove the spaces from the word script in the code above?

Yuck..yuck

Yes I did remove those spaces. I figured Telli had Sentinal or Protector and I might be banned if I had script tags in a thread.

Anyway..this has never worked and I am just now revisting it. Another block stopped working on me as well and I think it was a hit block to show how many hits my site recieved. I think that pulls data from the Statistics module.

Edit/...The hits block contains no javascript.

Hi ..

Im using PNC 2.1 (nuke 7.6 i think)

I have had more or less the same problems [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]
It seems that i can only run one javascript on my index.php any more and they wont work.

I tried VWar info block / CZNews and Shoutbox but only 1 would ever work at any one time and it was normaly the vWar infoblock.. if i turned the vwar block off it would be CZnews and if i turned off that then my shout box would come back to life !!

I would love to get all 3 javascripts working at the same time but i dont have a clue where to start...

Hope some one reads this and says I DO !!

Thanks in advance Ped
