all the blocks straight down the middle of the page. kinda tough to explain, if you happen to have firefox, take a look here:

the only page that does this, is the main page of the site icon_eek.gif . How can i fix this?

It seems to be working fine. I know on CZ the scrolling blocks at first are expanded to show all the content in them, but after a bit close into a scrolling block so it looks fine.

well, ive been playin around, and it works fine when i switch from theme to theme. Until i log in, then all the blocks either go to the left side, or down the middle. usually its just the home page, and with some themes, the forums are affected also. Just wondering if this is a mozilla thing, or something that is related to php nuke, and if its fixable.

if you would like to test it out, i have a test account setup

I'm using Firefox/0.10.1 and viewing it Anonymously, it's just fine, but as soon as I login, then thats when it displays all the blocks right down the center of the page. I've tried it with IE 6 and works just fine.

I've checked it with Firefox/0.10.1 The main page is the only page that displays all the blocks right down the center. All the other sections display just fine. It looks like it's in the code somewhere. Viewing the source code you have code that is IE specific. It's not the Firefox browser that is causing the problem, it's somewhere in the code. Probably somwthing that you added. A CZ block or module or addon or something, maybe the theme itself.

Is it possible to get a copy of the theme and I could load it on my nuke site that I'm still testing. I'm running PHP-Nuke 7.5 (Patched 2.6) with CBC Code.

Cheers,

It looks like it has the same problem with all the themes that I checked with. I believe it's in Nuke somewhere. Like I mentioned in my above post. Something that you added that is written for IE only.

Cheers,

Ok, I downloaded the Blackend theme and installed it on my Nuke 7.5 (Patched) site and everything displays just fine, including the main page.

Conclusion, it's not the theme(s), it is in nuke somewhere, probably something that you added, like I said before. Something that is written for IE only. Probably one of CZ blocks or modules. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

wow, thanks for the input.

i have 5 different themes, all of which are heavily modded. Im runnin nuke 7.3, only because im afraid of upgrading after doing all that work icon_eek.gif . It kinda sucks that alternative browsers cannot view the site correctly. I myself just recently started using mozilla, and only recently dicovered the issue after veiwing the site from a clan members computer, who uses mozilla. wish he had told me about the problem.

i guess we are going to be IE specific icon_rolleyes.gif

thank you for the response. icon_exclaim.gif

I don't think you fully read my above posts. It's NOT THE BROWSER thats causing the problem. It's the code in you Nuke files somewhere. I'm using Firefox/0.10.1 and installed the backend theme on my Nuke 7.5 (Patched 2.6) site and DO NOT have the problem.

Something that you added on to your site has code that is causing this with the backend theme.

You have 2 options

1. Keep your Nuke 7.3 site and be an IE specific Nuke site
2. Upgrade to Nuke 7.4 or 7.5 and be compatible with all browsers.

In my opinion, I would do the upgrade, but thats me. I know it must be fustrating for you right now. You did all that work and to have to do it all over. Been in that situation with Nuke several times in the past.

Now check this out. Install a new theme that you don't have on your nuke site now and then login and check it with Firefox and see if it still displays all the blocks down the center of the main page correctly or not. If it display's the theme incorrectly then you will probably continue to have the same problem with any theme that you install in the future. Hope this info helps.
