I'm trying to make a selection from the database based on a users name. So, I made something that looks kinda like this:

SELECT * FROM nuke_profiles WHERE username = $urname

Not quotes you can use hash '$urname' marks (and should if the variable is numeric) but not quotes. Does the query not work?

With the "'.$urname.'" it didnt work...I'll try it with the hash marks next.

An easy way to test it is to just put that into phpmyadmin and see what it gives you.

SELECT * FROM nuke_profiles WHERE username ='$urname'
