Here's what I've done. I got PHPNuke installed in a subfolder of my domain and then started editing and fixing things up so I could get my version running smoothly when I move it to be the main site (deleting my old html files)
Besides that I also installed a security fix to protect things so I don't get hacked that easily (we all want to avoid that eh?).
The version I'm running of PHPNuke is 6.8 and after moving it to the root and overwrote the files with the security fix. Now the problem is that my preferences won't change after I edit them and save.
What is wrong? Help anyone?
Thanks

Just tried that and still the same result. Can it be that somehow the preferences are locked up by the security fix or me moving the folder from the /php/ to the root folder?

Hi Lucullus, Taut won't be available for a couple days or so. I have done as you described before without a hitch. Does everthing else work correctly? ie; Admin functions, forums, etc..?

Yes the forum has been setup after I moved it and I can make blocks, add stories and such things... it's just the preferences that won't be saved at all when I change something and then press Save Changes.
I still think it's the security fix for version 6.8 tho... I'm using PHPNuke version 6.8 right now but have considered upgrading to 7.4 to see if that would fix the problem.

BTW let me just say that you guys have answered me the quickest compared to Nukecops and other forums I've checked out... Thank you Soooo much icon_smile.gif
