Hey guys,

I just moved my site to a new host. When I try to go in to forums admin I get this:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare check_auth() in /home/virtual/site75/fst/var/www/html/modules/Forums/admin/admin_ug_auth.php on line 129

I changed nothing between the hosts, just my config.php file to point to the new db. Any ideas?

I realize the hosting change shouldn't have caused any errors at all but.....as this is new to me I did a google and came up with this...see if it fixes your issue:

Thanks Taut. I didn't see anything there that should apply to my site, though it makes sense in theory. For the time being, I added "//" in front of fields in that function and it works fine. I feared that it's not checking to see if the user accessing the forums admin area is actually an admin. However, I cleared my cookies and tried to access the forums admin area with no success. I'll post back if I find another solution, but so far there have been no further repercussions. Again, thanks!

Try renaming the function. Attach your modules/Forums/admin/admin_ug_auth.php.

Problem fixed. Telli, I renamed it as suggested and all is well. I believe it was function check_auth and I added _ug on the end of it. Works great. Thanks, as usual!
