I am working on my first theme which i plan to release soon but before i do i would like to fix some minor errors that i am having to deal with.
Pictures to help with my description of problems:
Problem 1:

The horizontal line at the bottom along with the Forum copyright notice shouldn't be there. They should be at the end of the forum not page. How do i move this?

Problem 2:

All help greatly appreciated. icon_smile.gif

1. The lines at the bottom look like they're being pushed down by the left column. If they're located in the footer, they'll always be below the longest column.

2. Add border="0" to your image tags.

i had a look at my footer.html but there isn't any line there which has the code <hr> and it can only be a horizontal line cause i don't have an image like that. Also it's only the forum bit that shows it. On other pages everything is fine. Sorry to bother you again Kelly. Here is a link to the theme. Click [ Register or login to view links on this board.] . i think it is a line in one of the .tpl files? Aaahh.. help please.

OK, I read your original post wrong. I took it to mean that you had put the lines in the footer intentionally and couldn't understand why they weren't butted right up to the bottom of the center column. Now that I've had a look at your site, I see what you mean.

The horizontal line is being caused by this code:

<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="8" ><tr><td>
</td></tr></table></td></tr></table>

That code appears in every page below the center column. Try looking in center_right.html and see if that's where it is.

One thing, your theme is obviously based on the CZ Christmas theme, yet you have removed the copyrights. While modifying the theme is allowed, removing the copyrights of the original creators is not.

lol i don't actually have that file. I'm so crap at this icon_sad.gif
i built this theme using mtechnik's theme tutorial.
i did use the top navigation and snow from Telli's christmas theme. I did ask him whether i could use it (he said i could) and i will be giving credit to him/this site for that. The credit bit i plan to add once i've fixed the problems with the theme icon_biggrin.gif
