Hi Codezwiz staff and Teli,

I know this is not your programme but I also know that you do actually help. I am having a problem with Sentinel at the moment.

I am running Nuke 7.2 and just installed sentinel 2.1.1

When I click the sentinel icon in the admin panel I am presented with a blank white page.
the address is:

I really would appreciate it if you could help me with this problem as I have tried and failed else where. If you could help me I would gladly place a link on my site to you.
Thanks in advance

Jon

well you never know, ive installed sentinel 3 times and id have to say it was one of the easiest mods ive installed. id uninstall it and use the back up files it told you to make and make sure everything works fine without it and then download from it from a different spot and reinstall it. who knows maybe you got a zip file with a bad file in it.

Hi,

My appologies for taking a while to reply I have been moving house.

Yes, I have re-uploaded the admin files but the page is still blank.

I am wondering if it is anything to do with the .htaccess file. The sample.htaccess file was renamed to .htaccess and I got the popup window asking for my super admin login details, however it would not accept the username and password, and I made sure it typed it correctly. If I rename the file back then I am able to access my admin area but the nuke sentinel admin area goes blank again.

Any ideas would really be appreciated.

Thanks for your time and effort.

regards.

Jon

If your nuke is not running under CGI mode (you will probably have to ask your host) then just upload the .htaccess file and not the .staccess file. Open up the .htaccess file and make sure it's blank, if not erase whats in it and save, then upload to your root...then chmod it to 666.

BTW Nuke 2.1.2 is out now. [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Are you the "God" account holder? and you installed the sentinel database tables by running the: nsnst.php file correct?

Have you tried reinstalling to see if you missed something? If you decide to do this make sure to run the install file again to uninstall the tables, then just grab the newest sentinel (2.1.2) and go from there.
