I just happiily installed the Quick Title Mod I have found in this website to mine.
Love it and works exactly how I want it to be.

I just have 1 question and hoping for a way to do a slight adjustment to it.

Is there a way to make teh Title Mod to show just like th "Poll", "Sticky", or "Announcement" Titles?
So instead of using the Post text format, it would use the post/Sticky/Annoucnement Format instead.

Thanks in advance if this is possible and someone is willing to help icon_biggrin.gif

I also just realized that I found a MAJOR error somehow.

Anyone can view the Title Edit Drop Down Box and make changes.

Can anyone here help me on this?
Is it possibly a code I missed or is it the module itself?

I am currently using PhP-Nuke 7.5.
Thansk in advance

Setting the permissions can be a little confusing because of it being hierarchial. I would double check those first and then ask a member who you know shouldn't have permission to edit something to try. It was fooling me on my test runs because even when I logged out it still saw me as admin sometimes. My version is working fine tho.

Wow..on second look you are correct sir. The only auth check for the drop down is to make sure you are a logged in member. I'm not good enough to put the nice auth check in there. But here's a quick fix to only let mods and admins see the drop down.

Open viewtopic.php
Find----
if (!( $userdata['user_level'] == 0 & $userdata['user_id'] != $row['topic_poster']))

Replace with-----
if (!( $userdata['user_level'] <2 & $userdata['user_id'] != $row['topic_poster']))

Not a good fix I don't think but it does the job for now.

Ok, following Telli's post in the link above, I think I found the problem and possible fix.

viewtopic.php

find
if (!( $userdata['user_level'] == 0 & $userdata['user_id'] != $row['topic_poster']))

replace with
if ($userdata['user_level'] >= 2)

I belive this should let both Admin & Moderators to view the Title Dropdown box according to what I have read.

Telli, please confirm that I got that right? icon_biggrin.gif

That will work just fine.
