Hi,

My business requires that I host .asx files (media playlists), and apparently the server does not have them enabled.

From my streaming media provider: It looks like your web server does not have the MIME types enabled for ASX files. Can you enable them?

When I upload them, they don't open correctly.

Can someone help with this asap??

do u have another host that supports them? u could possibly iframe in a page from another site that u have that has the playlist on it

I could do that, but why would I pay another host more money to host a file that should work where I'm at now?

The issue is important enough to my business plans that I may move my websites, if neccessary.

NO - It does not.

Here's a test page linked to the .ASX file - When it's working, this file should open up windows media player.

The server is fine, it's your asx. Try this.

Well. I appreciate everyones help, but it is still not working. I tried the last one, and it doesn't work either.

The other one (BlackMusic-Radio.de) was a testfile from a working .asx script. It works fine on their server as-is, but not on mine.

When I contacted my streaming company about it, they said it's got to be on my servers end, because the file looks fine.

If someone wants to load this on another server to test it, I would appreciate it.

Try it now. Also make sure your users have the Media Player as thier default player.
