I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure this one out. Is there anyway to set the number of articles that are posted on the main page? It shows old articles in the block like it should but the articles keep stacking up on the main page. The articles are under various topics, not just one individual one. I'd like to keep it to just like 7 articles no matter what topic they are listed with. Any way I can do this?

I believe if you go into your Admin CP>Preferences, then find "Stories Number in Home" uder the General Site Info -- set this to 7 (like you said you wanted). Then go down to the Users Options block and notice the "Let users change News number in Home?" -- change this to NO.

Hope this helps.

Ok that worked great thanks a ton for the help. Now for another question. Is there a setting I can set somewhere that only allows registered members to access the downloads? I'm using PHPNUKE 7.5

Actually there is. If im understanding your question correctly, what you need to do is go to your admin panel (admin.php) now select "Modules" you'll be brought to an area that lists all your modules (downloads being one of them) now locate "Downloads" and to the far right you'll see "edit" select that and the option to make that viewable to registered members is right there.
