I've seen a lot of post but nothing with an answer on whether there is a way to have one category start open.

Yeah I read through that. I didn't see a real answer other than most likely creating a new Quick Links routine which would do the job but make adding new modules to it hard or in the case of what I see for extra links tell me if this would be the answer. If I do get it to work I'll post in the thread my modified code.

1> Create another table called ExtraLinks2 (nuke_modules_exlinks2) for example.
2> Copy the routines from the extra links area of czm and rename the functions to reflect the new name.
3> Create a routine to put modules into the extra links category title.

bah getting ahead of myself. I know the basics of programming but bathtub Delphi 3 is ages ago and when I sold [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] I gave up designing and editing pages until recently. Anyway this is my ideas to make this work think that would work?

Since I havent really played with my CZen and CZM, it's worth a shot. Just make sure you have backups of everything and you jot down all your steps so that you can backtrack later if something should go wrong
