I would like to make some wallpaper for downloads on my website.
As you all know it is a freshwater fishing site. i need help with some
ideas and help doing it in psp 8 please.
I have tried but they do not look very good.

It's hard to know what help you need, ideas, technique, maybe would help if you posted one that you made.

i want to make a fishing lake with a fisherman but then have my website address on it, any help would be gratefully received as i am trying to do this in psp8.

There are lots of free stock photo's you can use on the web, might help to do a google search of free photo's to find your pictures for your wallpaper. Then you can just add them by layering in PSP8 with text last. If you want to post what you have might help.

I like the picture but not the text, the color doesn't seem like it goes with the picture. You may want to make another layer to put the text on and make it somewhat transparent. I'd suggest if not too confident yet with layering,bevel, and drop shadow effects, might want to just make the text smaller using a dropper to pick out a light color in the picture as your text color. Another idea is doing a google search and getting a PSP tube of a fishing pole. :-}

Here's am example of the text with a large drop shadow effect that may look nice on a lake picture.

well from the way i see it.....wallpaper 2 i can see the writing easier ALTHOUGH.. the top actual as in a layer (it looks like) i cant really read but i can see the text on the underneath of it..so i duno what ya need to do, ... hope you understand lol

Better, and if the people want a wallpaper with your name on it might download. I'd make the drop shadow more transluscent, and further away from your name. The warp/perspective correction tool may help you get the lettering better on the text(it's a fun tool to play with), you can also try a small bevel on the text. Like the sunshine!

I don't know if it was your file or site change, but your wallpaper was in bmp form, I'd make sure is in jpg when offering-the file size is usually smaller.
