Hi !!

Can anyone tell me what is good way to fade or lighten an image. I tried to take this image to GIF work and "fade", but all I get is a lot of gray. I want to use this image as a background with text over it, and need it to be lighter for the test to show properly.

Thank you for any help or advise you can offer.

Also, not sure what graphic program you have (The Gimp is a free one) but I played with the curves to lighten it, you could also try highlight/contrast to lighten. icon_smile.gif

It can be done with most image editors, like paintshop or photoimpct. Try downloading some trial software to see which you would prefer, then have a play.
