Hello... first time user of php-Nuke and CMS of any kind really. I am getting an error when trying to install php-Nuke Platinum. I have uploaded all the files to my server, but when I go to the next step and try to create an Admin account I get this: "There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience." I am not sure if I edited the config.php file correctly. My SQL database name is milit2_nuke1 and my username is xxxxxx. The following is how I edited the config.php file:

$dbhost = "localhost";
$dbuname = "";
$dbpass = "";
$dbname = "milit2_nuke1";
$prefix = "nuke";
$user_prefix = "nuke";
$dbtype = "MySQL";
$sitekey = "7Ed+UratU+e9-eSwASW8s82MagUV*2";
$gfx_chk = 7;
$subscription_url = "";
$admin_file = "admin";

After running the platinum.sql file in the step before I noticed it gave all the tables the prefix of nuke. If that is the case, should I have named my SQL database milit2_nuke instead of milit2_nuke1? Also, what is the deal with the password? Should I put it in as normal text? I copied and pasted from another web site that had the same password, but it must be encrypted or something, because what you see above is NOT the password! Anyway, thanks to anyone that might be able to help!

*Edited by echo to remove database user name and password. From now on please remove such information before posting for the sake of your own safety and security. If you have questions regarding password placement you can PM me the information and I'll take a look.

I don't actually have a solution but a teency bit of advice: You might want to edit your post and take out the username and password..

Why not just give them the keys to your house while you're at it icon_rolleyes.gif
