OK, made a new theme and changing colors, but havinf problem finding a certain color to change. It has to do with the modules, because it's all the same. I've searched every file I can think of, but still can't find this gray color to change it. Maybe a fresh idea or little push in the right direction. Thanx, addy is below... Which gray? I see two different shades of gray. Is it the background of the stories, or the overall background color?

In your stylesheet, you have BACKGROUND-COLOR: #8e8e8e; in several of your selectors. The ones that seem to apply to the story area of your page are td.extra and td.content. Try changing the color in those and see if that works.
