need help with popup script - phpnuke

Got a problem with this also....it worked, but not anymore icon_sad.gif.

I have put the popup,js into my root, and added the code into my_header.php.

Then I made the link:
echo "<td><a href=\"\" onClick=\"return popitup('$delink')\">$name</a></td>\n";


$delink is definded as the link hwich needs to be opened....but I got redirected t the main page, asif the popup.js isn't read.
Even tried it in a block:
<a href="EXAMPLE.html" onClick="return popitup(''EXAMPLE.html'')">Link to popup</a>
Not workingat all.
Any1 has a solution? (nuke 7.6)
