error message when logged in as superuser

I have successfully installed phpnuke, well sort of, when I login as superuser and go to Admin page >>> Click on any icon, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in D:\inetpub\plugindesign\portal\html\admin.php on line 414

p.s. my hosting company do not allow register globals to be on, is this the problem?

well i doubt it has anything to do with register globals being off, most hosts leave them off nowadays, for security reasons.

if you pasted some lines around the error line maybe someone would reply to this post.
