Hello everyone, im running 7.5 version of php. my site has been getting hacked and my host said they must be going thru the php. im with bluehost.com they said i was being hacked thru the theme i have which i paid for from codewiz. i have the tronic green theme. when i login in to the admin page all my options work except EDIT ADMIN when i click that block it takes me here [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and then the page says Access Denied. and also i was wondering what i could do to prevent being hacked again or what options do i have. i dont know alot about php im still learning. well any help will work my site is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Hello first im sorry to hear that u hacked

I dont think so that you hacked coz of a theme
let me tell you what i would do if i were you please;

-i would go look throught phpmyadmin my nuke_authors table for see if i have unwanted admins there ,if there is delete it

-i would update my nuke version to php nuke 7.6 +patched with version 2.9

- i would install a securty program which i would prefer sentinel

these are the first steps i would do as first and fast i hope other members will offer some more

There not hacking you through your theme. Do as some1 suggested an update your Nuke and some type of a defense.

ok thanks guys for the info. im going to the link u said some1 . where im confused is once ive got the 7.6 and sent security downloaded . where do i install it at? what folder etc so that it does work properly. ive deleted all admins except me so i understood that part. and again thanks for the help guys.

hmm, who has prebuilt packages with sentinel already installed?
i know i saw a couple recently.
