hey guys,

well i went to edit one of my blocks (affiliate block) and i added </textarea> in at the end of it and now when i visit my site [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] or try to access my administration panel it comes up with the same page...and i dont have the know how to fix it.....

Thanks for your time.

EDIT**: just seen if you scroll down on the "link us" html part it has the coding for what looks like the rest of my site lol...

either delete the block in phpmyadmin or use your ftp to bring your site back to normal

Sorry im a Learner to php, would it be possible to explain a lil more...i went onto my ftp program > public_html> nuke> blocks> and what i was looking for (affiliates) wasnt there..so which one do i delete or how do i do it.

When you created the block, you must have given it a name, then you uploaded it to your blocks folder. Then you activated it in your ACP.

Do the reverse steps this time deleting the block you originally uploaded to your blocks folder

well in my administration area i just went to "Blocks" and created a new block putting the text area code in.....then saved it (without adding </textarea> at the end) i then realised this and went and editted it...and add </textarea> at the end and thats when my site went like this......Perhaos i should have said this in my first post..

hmmm...just an fyi for the future. That's not how you add blocks to your Nuke site.

Nevertheless, you should still be able to see that in your blocks folder but if it's not there...I'll have to play with it for a bit since I've never encounterred a situation such as this before.

ok so in future...i make a new file with notepad and put my code in and upload it to the nuke/blocks folder? and then activate it from my administration panel?
thanks, I have decided to end the phpnuke version on my site and do an html one since i know html better.
