on PHP Nuke 7.7, on the forums, and editing signatures most all the textareas from what i know of are diffrent.. ex. for the forums.. you cant just click a emoticon and it popsup in the textarea .. same with changing colors of ya fonts entering url's ya have to manually do it all.. any code i can change in 7.7 to change the way the textareas are??..

one other thing.. those textareas that come with 7.7 lagg they are pretty slow and it sucks!!

the example link you have is that to the news module not to the forums. The forums have always had the ability to click an emoticon and that image will pop up in your post. If you want more functionality within your forums, dl the bbcode add-on for the forums. It's in the dl section

reason i put the news link.. is so ya can see how the textarea is.. ya have to register to post on forums.. so i figured that ya wouldnt want to .. but ya got to, to be able to see how the textarea is.. and that the emoticons dont work with that textarea
