Hey guys quick question, MY client had his NUke Site set up like this with in his domain..
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ] DIR/index.php

I grabbed all of the nuke stuff and moved it via FTP to the main root of the domain ( publice_html)

It appears to be working fine, my question is .. will this affect any users info from teh data base... I have no clue how the php data bases work.. I am not sure if they pull from the domain or from something else..

I am also very intereset in this data base thing, if anyone can reccomend any books for learning the PHP databases and manipulating the tables I would appreciate..

Thanks!

When moving from one place to another the only thing you would have to change are the URL's in the code itself. The database stays the same, unless you are making a new database and moving the old database information to the new database. If that were the case, you would need to go into the config file and change that information. As for books, you can go to MySQL.org and read the manual there, or I would recommend "PHP and MySQL Web Development" By: Luke Welling and Laura Thomson. Published by Sams. Hope that helps.
