Before anyone says it, Yes I did search the forums, and I do have information on hiding the left blocks. It is the 2nd sticky post in this forum!

With that said, the reason I still need help is because I am using a custom theme that has different code for the left block than the standard php nuke theme.php file.

I will give example as folllows;

//if 0, use blocks.htm, if 1, use blocks-right.htm, if 2, use blocks-left.htm
//left blocks values
    global $swapleftright;

   if ($leftblockstemp == "2"){
   $swapleftright = "2"; // if 2, use right blocks template
   }
   if ($leftblockstemp == "1"){
   $swapleftright = "1"; // if 1, use left blocks template
   }
   if ($leftblockstemp == "0"){ // use default
   $swapleftright = "0";
   }
   if ($forumleftblocks == 1){   //hide or display left blocks on forums
         if (($name=='Forums') OR ($name=='Private_Messages') OR ($name=='Members_List')) { // remove left blocks for these modules //
      }
       else {
      blocks(left);
      }
   }
   else {
      blocks(left);
   }

So, do I just replace each otf the two (2) instances of

blocks(left);

with

global $name;
    if($name!=Forums)
    {
    blocks(left);
    }

or is something different needed?

Any help will be most appreciated.

This is to hide left blocks for the website forums on [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

Thanks- David

Its already added look at the one line you posted:

if ($forumleftblocks == 1){   //hide or display left blocks on forums
         if (($name=='Forums') OR ($name=='Private_Messages') OR ($name=='Members_List')) { // remove left blocks for these modules //
      }

Just try adding a $forumleftblocks = 1; right above this section of code in your theme file.
