I am doing a fresh install of nuke and was curious as to which is the most stable up to Date version.

I assume 7.6 is currently the best. I have heard the negative things about 7.7 and 7.8 and have personally tried platinum (which sucks).

Any input would be appreciated.

I'd stick with 7.6, of course that just all depends on how "security" minded or conscious you are. Personally, I run CZ En 7.0 and havent got problems yet.
