I have been made aware of a piece of software that can access peoples accounts in Yahoo/Pogo games. I have seen this software in action and it cracked 7 out of 10 accounts....it basically works by entering a user name into it and it then scans the list of passwords...the list of passwords is fairly vast. Once the password is cracked it logs you onto the account automatically where you can do what you like. ..i have not used this and would not use this but just as a warning make sure you use good secure passwords to your accounts or you are asking for trouble.

thank you for the warning..although I no longer play in those gaming sites as most of them have become greedy with monetary influences.

I guess what makes me more curious is, why people keep doing these things, inventing apps that create havoc? Is there no honor left in this world?

Bots, aimers, booters and now this!

lol taut, the thing that is being referred to has been around just as long as the bots, boosters, and aimers, if not longer, its called a cracker, as long as your password is somewhat hard such as including symbols and other characters you should be fine as these crackers use pw lists are made up of common words like lucky, dog, happy, those types of words, however i have never used one of these "crackers" i just get my info from friends who have, o and another addition to being safe i dont know about pogo but in yahoo you can login securely this reduces the threat of you account being "cracked" i use a secure login to the game rooms on all the lg pages i make just for the security of the members

Personally I know a lot of them water sites, i've never done it myself but I used to hang around in the Forums, thats where I learnt about Nuke and bb and stuff, which bought me here for help cuz all them sites are going out of business, but every day there seems to be a new one, which is kinda annoying, once one goes down 2 more come up, its h-ell

Them programs have been around since yahoo disabled the ability to have usernames with caps and symbols in...

yea many people have crackers now days to try and crack rares.....rares are yahoo accounts with spaces/symbols/caps/dashes/dots and more. it can be a rare if it starts off with a number or an underscore or it could be a rare if it has an underscore at the end of the id or multiple underscores next to each other. but people arent just cracking them, some are making fake programs that when you download them it keylogs your yim so they get your id and pass. i should know bout this because i downloaded an aimer detector and turns out that the person who sent it to me got it from someone else that made it and it had a keylogger in it. so i lost my yim which was Matth_ew (rare account). then i found out who got the id and he wont give it back. Just shows what people will do to get a yahoo id.
