I have phpnuke 7.7 installed and the only addition to the site so far is a sample member code that grim gave to use in another post.

I've gone into the admin cp and set up all the forum boards and stuff but when I go to preview the forum theres nothing there, just a white page. For theme in the configuration section of the forum admin it only shows subsilver and none of the nuke themes...when I go to styles to try and add them to the list they arent listed there.

You can preview the forum here...you need to be a member to view. I have set up a testing account

username: tester
pw: 123456

Thank you in advance for any help

can you supply a link back to your site? subsilver is the default template for your phpbb forums so there is no need to change that. If your using a PhpNuke Theme with a ported phpbb template it sets automaticaly when you choose your default theme for your site. Although 7.7 an 7.8 PhpNuke is kinda buggy I usually suggest anyone to stay around 7.5 - 7.6 +3.1 patch

I downloaded the 7.7 from here along with the installer...have no clue what i'm doing so you'll probably see ALOT of me over the next few days as I try to add stuff to the site.

So would I be better off if I just started over and used one of the versions you mentioned above?

that is totally up to you to descide. I just made a suggestion in what I think is the best at the moment as far as Nuke versions. It is my opinion, an some may agree with me. This is your site an community you will be working on, as well as the time you put into it. So you descide an make the best descion for yourself.

ok tried 7.5 but had the same problem as with 7.7. Could view every page of the site except the forum. Was digging around on the web control panel for my site and they had an option to install php nuke 6.5 so decided to try that and what ya know...I can view the forum.

Grim, the member code ya sent me works on there too lol.

Now I am off to see I can find the upgrade files so I can get up to 7.5 so I can use the points/bank and all that jazz
