First off, great job on Halloween Theme.

I have the WoW pnp theme that Slashdot made, He has a flash menu for the forum that you can see here

I want to change this menu (the brown one) to one like the standard template (T-Platinum) has that you can see here

I have not gotten any responses on this issue from either Slahdot or Technocrat at Platinum Mods/fork

Am I better of just taking the t-platinum overall_header.tpl and comparing it to the current (WoW) overall_header.tpl and adjusting as needed?

Yeah you could just replace the overall header template file. that would take care of it. Make sure you replace the theme name in the file though.
